1. FALL LEADERSHIP CONFERENCE (FLC) REGISTRATION GUIDE

Attending FLC is a great way to generate enthusiasm for your DECA program and provide valuable experiences for students!

- Registration opens October 1 and closes October 5.

2. MEMBERSHIP FLYER

Attached is a DECA membership promotional flyer for you to distribute to potential student members.
- This is a Word document, so feel free to stylize it to suit your needs.
- Next week’s update will include a promo flyer for Alumni members and Professional members!
- To start your year, go to teachdeca.org/resources Unit 1 (password: envision) for valuable resources to start your DECA year!
- The Membership Information section guides you through facilitating your first meeting to registering members online.

6. WAME NEEDS YOU!

WAME is looking for a couple of Advisors to share best practices with their colleagues at the annual BAM Conference in October!
- Do you have a new project, unit, or assignment that you’d be willing to share?
- Please see attached flier to sign up as a presenter. We can combine advisors into shared presentation times too!
- The BAM Agenda will be released in the next couple of weeks, but plan for a wonderful, innovative, and motivational conference!

7. MDA MUSCLE WALK

The MDA Muscle Walk is almost 2 weeks away, located at Jefferson Park on September 15. Registration begins at 9:00 a.m. Have you registered your team to make a difference?

The money raised for the MDA Puget Sound Muscle Walk event goes toward supporting local services, national resources/advocacy, and international research.
