  • Invoices will be automatically sent to you via email once you click on Finish Registration.

2. NEW WASHINGTON DECA WEBSITE – WWW.WADECA.ORG

We are excited to announce the launch of the new Washington DECA website! As we venture into this new transition, our goal is to provide a whole new way to teach, share, and grow Washington DECA.

  • Over the next few months, you will continue to see new developments and enhancements at www.wadeca.org, including an exclusive resource area called TeachDECA.org.
  • We’ve partnered with a team of DECA specialists, and together we're building a dynamic and centralized resource center to help advisors TEACH DECA and grow emerging leaders and entrepreneurs.
  • The helpful resources you know and love are still available, and there will be more to come. To access WA DECA’s exclusive resources, visit www.teachdeca.org and login using the password “unite”.

Enjoy the new look, and we look forward to your feedback!

3. FALL CONFERENCE OPPORTUNITIES

Advisors: Please take note of these new opportunities, and encourage your DECA student members to participate. These are also great to incorporate into your classroom as extra activities!

Fall Conference T-Shirt Design Contest – Deadline September 29

Let’s see your creativity, Washington DECA! We are holding a t-shirt design contest for the Fall Conference. This year’s theme is UNITE. Attached, please find a promotional flyer for this contest. You can submit your designs through this link: www.tinyurl.com/flcdesign.

#YOUnite Fall Conference Video Submissions – Deadline October 4

This year’s WA DECA theme is UNITE! In the spirit of unity, this year’s state officer team, TEAM UNITE, invites all DECA members to join the conversation leading up to FLC. We are requesting short/quick videos from DECA members that answer one or more of these questions:

  • What does UNITE mean to you?
  • How do you promote unity in your school and community?
  • As leaders and DECA members, how can you help unite people of different views, backgrounds, and beliefs?

Selected videos will be amplified on Washington DECA’s social media platforms, and THE BEST VIDEOS will be featured in the morning General Session at FLC! So, grab that camera and make a video!

  • It can be selfie style or with the help of a friend.
  • Be sure to shoot it “landscape,” and aim for the best quality sound to increase your chances of being featured at the conference.
  • To participate, post your video on your social media platform of choice (Twitter, Instagram, Facebook) with the hashtags #WADECA and #YOUnite.
  • Also, make sure you’re connected with us!
