1. FOSTER YOUNG WOMEN'S LEADERSHIP SUMMIT

The University of Washington Foster School of Business has a unique opportunity for rising high school juniors and seniors who are interested in studying business called the Foster Young Women’s Leadership Summit!
Program Overview:            3.5-day academic /residential immersion program
Program Dates:                 Sunday, July 15 – Wednesday, July 18
Program Schedule:            Standard program times are 9:00 am - 5:00 pm with evening activities.
Application Deadline:         Friday, April 13 at 5pm

2. MDA SUMMER CAMP

2018 – YMCA Camp Seymour
Gig Harbor, WA
June 23rd30th
MDA (Muscular Dystrophy Association) is seeking people to volunteer at MDA Summer Camp this summer!

Apply to be an MDA Summer Camp volunteer counselor or medical staff team member and help improve the lives of kids in their community who have muscular dystrophy and related diseases that severely limit muscle strength and mobility.

3. PLAN AHEAD FOR CHAPTER TEAM EVENTS

Now is the time to start brainstorming and networking for ideas for your 2018-2019 Chapter Team Events. Planning for next years projects can begin anytime after the conclusion of the 2018 SCDC. These projects are: Creative Marketing, Public Relations, Learn and Earn, Community Service, Entrepreneurship Promotion and Financial Literacy Promotion.  Think of events you can plan, businesses you can work with, etc. The best projects are the ones that start early and are completely planned, implemented, and evaluated by December of 2018!  Want to learn how to incorporate project management into your curriculum...? Attend the WAME One Day conference on May 9th for the 1st half of training!

4. ICDC SUPPORT FOR NEW ADVISORS

If you are a new advisor and will be attending ICDC, look for a separate email coming tomorrow (Wednesday) and they will continue through April 25, 2018 with checklists and ideas of what you can/should be doing to make sure you are ready to board your plane and have a great experience in Atlanta!  MORE PEMBERTON PLACE TICKETS ARE NOW AVAILABLE!!!
